about me

I came to photography the same way most people come to anything they love — by accident, and with no real plan.

By day, I've spent the better part of my career in science, coaxing living cells into doing improbable things to cure diseases. But somewhere along the way I picked up a camera and discovered that the stories individuals tell through their food were just as compelling to me.

I've had the privilege of working with some of Boston's most celebrated kitchens and have my work featured in the Michelin Guide, Boston Magazine, and Wine Spectator.

I'm based out of Arlington, MA where I live with my wife, my son, and our cat Beau (the elder in our household by cat years). Outside of photography, I’m an avid cyclist, adventurer, aspiring bookworm, and sci-fi nerd.
